i never know how to handle these situations

I've been mistaken for being Mexican American on several different occasions. Especially when I wear a dress like this. but that doesn't stop me. Whenever I get the occasional, "hola! mira al igual que mi primo Pattie!". I tend to run away. Or speak, in the most American accent I can, that no, in fact, I'm not.
